There is a slight red colorshift when printing. Changed cartridges and ran through the cleaning cycles. Try to run the auto adjust and they all fail. Auto Adjust gradatation...fails. Correct print color mismatch fails. Probably try factory reset next.

Hope somebody solve this issue by now.
I have MF8580 with has about 3mm! color mismatch. It gives "Correct Print Color Mismatch fails". Cleaning sensors did nom make any difference. Another printer is MF8350. Same, just older model shows correction done but yellow is about 1mm offset. What else can be done about it.

These are NOT sensors. These are just plastic pins. There are 3 sensors on the assembly side faced ITB.
How cleaning plastic pins can improve picture quality? 🙂

Correction: There 2 sensors. Not 3. One hole is empty.

I wanted to post my solution here for the same issue that I have with the MF8280Cw.
I have found that ALL of the following conditions need to be met for the colour correction [=color to you in the US 😉 ] to be successful. If a single one of these is not true then the colour mismatch correction fails:
1) ALL toner cartridges need to be the same model/brand (not necessarily Canon)
2) ALL toner cartridges need to be fairly full. If ANY is less than half full then it doesn't work
3) If the ITB is dirty it doesn't work. In the maintenance menu there is a "Clean ITB" option which will clean the ITB (=intermediate transfer belt)

Thanks for sharing the pictures but I could notice those are not the same as my MF8080C printer.
Do you know where those sensors cold be on my model?
Thanks

Thanks for the tip @willt but for me, I purchased genuine canon toner just to try to get this to work and found that it's still not able to succeed. Maybe the things you mentioned are requirements, but I think in my case there must be something else going on as well.
