Repeated failures. Already tried several suggenstions: remove antivirus software, uninstall/reinstall, remove certain registry keys, change some settings, tried both USB and LAN connections. Had a Pixma printer installed and working fine, thought there might be conflicts, so I removed that printer and all associated files and drivers. No luck. At my wits' end. All this, just to install a printer?
