i-SENSYS MF750 II: unable to register, not intended for use or sale in USA error

Hi. I got this printer on Amazon and when I try to register the serial number the support portal says it is not intended for use or sale in USA. I can’t get any help without registering. Can anyone suggest a number to call or way to register?

Did you buy from a canon authorized dealer or from a Amazon marketplace seller?  This is important. 

The MF750 C II is a product series not an actual model.  The model of your printer should be on the front on the toner drawer cover (lower right hand corner).  What is the model number?

The telephone number for Canon support in the US is 1-800-652-2666.

Be prepared.  It's possible you may have purchased a grey market product.  These are products that may not have been intended for sale in the country where you reside.  Support should be able to help you identify your device.

If you find that you have purchased a grey market product, I would return it as support and warranty may not be available.  This often happens when sellers who are not authorized dealers misrepresent the products they are selling.  I hope this won't be true in your case.  Call Canon, they can help with this.
