I have a squeal that has started when my MF720C starts up or comes out of sleep mode. Once i start printing the noise stops.
I have run the maintenance tasks to clean the ITB and finisihing assembly. Although, it does make the loud squeal sound as the finisihing assembly cleaning is performed. So, i suspect that might be the issue.
Any others have this issue?
If it is the finishing assembly, is that easy to fix?

Hello Jswright,
The issue looks like there is a problem with the hardware. In this situation, you can try removing all of the toner cartridges and checking the interior for any obstructions or jammed paper. If the interior is clear, it looks like the printer needs service. You can use the link HERE to access your Canon account and see what service options are available.
