I've just finished setting up a new Color imageCLASS MF665Cdw that I purchased in part because it had a 600dpi scanner. And indeed, I see that resolution in the Canon MF Scan Utility. But that resolution is absent from the device's eSCL scanner capabilities, so I can't seem to get 600dpi resolution from other scanning software.
Here's how I retrieve the capabilities, and a few excerpts showing the resolution is capped to 300:
curl -s http://192.168.50.49:80/eSCL/ScannerCapabilities
<scan:PlatenInputCaps>
<scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>
<scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>
<scan:AdfSimplexInputCaps>
<scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>
<scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>
<scan:AdfDuplexInputCaps>
<scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalXResolution>
<scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>300</scan:MaxOpticalYResolution>
How can I get 600dpi in eSCL?
