I bought a MF654CDW for home so my daughter could print her papers for school. I set it up, printed a test page and all worked well. The printer sat for 1+ month without being used. Now, whenever a page is printed there is blue ink spots on it. These blue ink spots are only on the first page, even if I print black and white. So if I print three pages, only the first page will have these blue ink spots on it. What might the problem be? Faulty toner cartridge or that automatic thing it does every day to keep the toner cartridges primed which I'd love to disable? Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Hello Mrbillonline,
The issue looks like one of the toner cartridges are leaking or there is loose toner powder in the printer. In this situation, you can try removing all of the toner cartridges and inspect the inside of any for any loose toner powder inside that can be wiped up with a damp cloth. You can also inspect the cyan toner to make sure it is not leaking/damaged. Once you reload the toner, you can perform an ITB and fixing unit cleaning using the steps in the link HERE.
If you continue to have issues, I suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to help.
