MF632C/634C. connected to imac os 15.6 via USB wont print.

In settings + printers and scanners was able to find the printer as MF632C/634C

Scanner works.  but print center says printing to and Connected to printer, but nothing just keeps showing the back and forth update bar, nothing happens.

I have installed driver    mac-mf633-632-631-fw-v0903-64

previously everything did work when I had this connected via wifi, but on an old wifi router that only did 2 ghz.   since updating could never get any further then with the usb.     at least the connection with usb allows to scan…..  did not do that on wifi

Hello!

Welcome to the Canon Community!

To ensure your Mac can communicate properly with your printer, you'll need to download and install the scan and print drivers and software from our site https://canon.us/mf634cdw

MF Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac: mac-mf-v101113-00.dmg
Scanner Driver & Utilities for Mac V2.15.19: mac-scan-v21519-00.dmg
Fax Driver & Utilities for Mac V4.15.22: mac-fax-v41522-01.dmg

In the future, you may want to register your printer - all of the support files and documents are easy to access in your My Canon Account at https://canon.us/account

If you navigate to the Canon USA site directly, you may have to manually select your operating system via the dropdown on the right. Once you've selected the correct macOS version, download the print, scan, and if necessary, fax drivers.
