Hello everyone,
My company has two MF4890dw printers in the offices and one of them has been giving us trouble. The machine is connected to company LAN with Ethernet and the computer having trouble is a Windows 7 Professional machine on the same LAN.
On one particular computer, we are only able to print up to two pages of documents. If we attempt to print a document of 3 or more pages, or, say, print three or more copies of a one-page document, two pages would print without a problem, but the printing stops after page 2 comes out. On the printer there's no error messages. In Windows, the printer window (the one where you see all the queued print jobs), the print status would show "Error" on the document.
We have tried removing and readding the printer several times and also rebooting both the computer and the printer. No avail - printer does the same thing. So far it seemed like it only occured to that one particular computer. We also downloaded the newest drivers, but the files contained within the zipped folder looked identical to the ones we already have.
Any suggestions? Has anyone encoutered this issue before?
