MF4880DW missing 2>2 sided copy option

I just purchased a MF4880DW which is suppose to have 2 sided printing capabilities according to the manual but the machine itself does not have the 2>2 option. The menu only provides 1>2 sided option not 2>2 sided option as shown in the manual as available on this model. Can you please assist? Thank you.

Hi RonPro.

The imageCLASS MF4880dw only supports making double-sided copies from single-sided documents [1 -> 2-Sided].  The MF4890dw supports both double-sided and single-sided copies [2 -> 2-Sided].  To create a single-sided to double-sided copy [ 1 -> 2-Sided], please follow the instructions below:

1. Place documents.

2. Display the Copy mode screen.

Press [ ] (COPY).

3. Perform one of the following procedures.

Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <2-Sided>, and then press [OK].

 
 

4. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <1->2-Sided>, and then press [OK].

To specify the 2-Sided copy format:

(1) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <Format Settings>, and then press [OK].

(2) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <1->2-Sided>, and then press [OK].

(3) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight the orientation of the original document, and then press [OK].

(4) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight how to open the output, and then press [OK].

5. Press [ ] or [ ] (Start).

To copy a document by placing in the feeder:

Copying starts.

To copy a document by placing on the platen glass:

Perform the following procedure.

(1) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight the size of the original document, and then press [OK].

* If a document is placed on the platen glass, you may specify the scan size as <LGL> size, but the actual size is <A4> size.

(2) Place the next page and press [ ] or [ ] (Start).

* Repeat this step until all pages are scanned.

(3) Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <Start Copying>, and then press [OK].
