I bought my Canon imageCLASS MF4450 all-in-one (printer/ fax/ scanner) approximately 2 years ago here in Canada and the printer and scanner have both been working fine up until last week, when I could no longer scan. When I hit SCAN and OK'ed "COMPUTER", the machine keeps saying CONNECT TO COMPUTER, even though the wire is attached at both ends. I even went out and bought a new wire today and the same issue is persisting. BTW, the printer is still working fine. Also, when I access the Canon MF Toolbox from my Applications toolbox and try to manually scan, the error code 900016 comes up.
I am using my printer (which is supposed to be a "plug and play" type) on my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9.
Can anyone help please? Thanks
