MB5350 not recognized by Canon software

Hello,

I wanted to install this printers software on my laptop, but after several tries (wired / wireless instalation, uninstall / reinstall, 2 different USB cables) I just couldn't get the software to recognize it.

Windows has no problem installing the driver (I printed a test page). The printer even shows in the network.

I disabled any firewall (Bitdefender and Windows defender)

Any sugestions?

Thank you.

Tried again a wireless installation and it worked. The only difference is that now I turned on the printer when the "Make sure the printer is on" prompt appeared.
