I have attached an image of the problem with my MB2150 printer. I cleaned the roller and all maintenance options.

I wouldn't put the money into repairing then. Inkjets unfortunately need to be run and cannot sit too long without issues. Might I recommend replacing with a B&W laser MFP instead. The maintenance is quite a bit less and the cost per print and longevity of the cartridge is quite a bit more. I myself have just an B&W MFP at home. Since the toner is a dry powder it will never dry. I have had the same toner cartridge for going on 2 years. It is just ready when you need. Good luck and hope that helps.

Streaks of INK... My bad. Look for fuz which has collected ink and is dragging as the sheet feeds. There may also be a head that is drooling, that gets a bit more involved unfortunately. Look for signs of ink spill, if so there is a bad seal somewhere.

I bought it 2 years ago for $185. If I take it for repairs, is it worth it?

At $185 bucks, that is a good question. If anything needs replacing it is easily going to start at about half that cost.

How much printing do you do a month? Do you need color or is it "nice to have?" Is it primarily business color (graphs, solid blocks of color, logos, etc...) or do you do photo printing? Depending on your answer, the repair or replace question could be answered better.

I do not use the printer a lot. I do not use it for photos. I use it for letters and scanning.
