Hello!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know more information.

What is the exact model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit)?
Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

MB2720

A Genuine Canon ink tank shouldn't fit in the incorrect place, but here are the instructions.

Bought this Maxify MB2720 at Wal Mart in late May 2025 ,,and the factory ink lasted a week and replaced that until yesterday ( black red and blue were all out at once ) and put in black and then mistakenly put the red ink in the blue slot ...and it immediately came up with a red "Support code " 5501 and said "Printer error has occurred . Follow the steps below : 1. Cancel printing and then turn device off . 2. Turn the device on again . If problem persists see the manual and contact the service center ." No manual came with it and the service center was a several hour robot pain( no appropriate responses )  and it looks like it has turned into junk after three months ...the red one will not release and be removed  and nothing else happens now ..the ink moves to the right and stays there too .
