I had a paper jam that was cleared but still receiving support code 6000. I have checked the back and everything up top, there is no paper in the printer. I have unplugged it for 24 hrs, and also carefully spun the gear on the right side to try to reset the roller. any other suggestions would be great. Canon support not open until Monday.

Hello,
The code would point to a jam in the paper path or there is a problem with the hardware. If you are unable to locate any additional jams or obstructions in the printer, it looks like the printer needs service. For service options, I suggest contacting support directly at 1-800-652-2666 or you can log into your MyCanon account.
