Just bought this and it crapped out during the driver install and rebooted win 8.1. Fomrerly a BIG fan of canon stuff, but gotta say, this is NOT like Canon quality at all.
Now I can't install and can't update it. I unsinstalled the drivers that had made it to install and then went through it again but keep getting "cannot find USB connected printer, try again." Yeah, that works! NOT!
I printed he IP connections page and it shows it has accepted the IP. Gateway and Subnet , has the correct SSID and WPA2-PSK and shows a single asterisk for the passphrase.
Does not show up in the "Devices and Printers" of Control Panel.
When I first tried the install, when I plugged in the USB cable the printer started up on it's own. It now does not do that no matter which instructions I follow.
How can I do a factory reset and try it all again?
