imageCLASS MF753Cdw - web services not available in your region.

I just purchased this printer from Best Buy and I’m located in Pennsylvania. I’m trying to activate the cloud apps which say I need to turn on web services. I turned on web services but then when it goes to next step to enter the code and I enter code I get an error that says services not available in your region. I’m beating my head against wall can’t figure out how to get past this. Thank you.

Greetings

Can you provide a little more information?  Where did you enable Web Services?  Printers LCD, Remote UI!? Please provide the path in the Remote UI.

Code requirement:

What "code" are you referring to and where did it come from?

I enabled it on printer LCD then tried to access cloud apps on LCD which stated I needed to enable in UI so I went there and there’s a register with this service button for cloud printing center setup. I press that land it gives the error. If I then try and create an account it asks for the registration code from LCD which if I enter it says same error not available in your region. Maybe cloud printing isn’t right but it’s under web services which is on and I don’t know what else to do. I’m trying scan to OneDrive from LCD and this is my first canon.

Greetings,

You still haven't provided the path in the UI for me.

Log in as System Manager

What's next?  Where are you clicking? Application Library?

I am trying to follow and recreate your steps.

Quick question, Have you updated the printer's firmware yet.  There is an icon on the LCD to the right.  If the printer is connected to a network with internet connectivity, you just tap it.

Thanks,

And when I click on the cloud apps on LCD it says I need to register through UI and won’t let me move forward.

Nevermind I figured it out had to add services under application library I wasn’t even close. So the other service must be unrelated.

Hey.  I appreciate your diligence.  Also note that your printer has a 3-year warranty.  If you register the printer in your MyCanon portal you can get help from Canon when / if needed.  I have the steps now so I'll give it a try on my side and see how it goes.  I have a OneDrive account I can test with.  Enjoy the printer.  The color MFs are a cut above the rest.  Very high performing.
