I have an Imageclass mf229dw and now when I scan either with the feeder or flatbad I get streaks. I cleaned both the flatbad and feeder and it is still streaky. I suspect the contact image sensor is bad. See below for sample scans. Can anyone confirm? Or can it be something else?

Please clean the feeder and platen using the instructions in the manual:
Clean the Feeder

Try scanning again using different paper. If the issue continues, we will have to recommend that you call our telephone support group. Please call 1-800-OK-CANON (652-2666), Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET (excluding holidays). A representative will be able to further assist you.
