ImageCLASS MF4370dn -- new Mac, not printing

PeterOliver

Hello out there and thanks in advance for any help.

I recently got a new Mac Mini and it's running Sequoia 15.1

Got and installed the new drivers for my trusty ImageClass MF4370dn --- and nothing will print. It indicates it's connected.

This has been a GREAT little laser printer / copier for the house here. My fear is that I will be reduced to getting a new printer because Canon no longer supports it.

Is there anything I can do?

THANKS!

Thanks for posting!

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon ImageCLASS MF4370dn has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.

Hi Arthur...and anyone else following along who has a Canon ImageCLASS MF4370dn and in a similar bind.

It's "retired". Sure. I get it, on a certain level.  But seems like an awful waste since it is a GREAT little workhorse.

Surely there's a hacker out there that offers a workaround to the official driver.

I'll do some digging and report back if I find anything

If unsuccessful I will just get a new all-in-one --- Canon's are great, but maybe I'll look for one with an assurance of not being "retired" too soon.

  Cheers!
