purchased a new MacBook Air with the Sequoia 15.6 operating system. My Cannon printer is MF634Cdw. I am getting error 10,202,3 then 10,202,1 when I try to scan. I can print wirelessly, but can't get the scanning to work,

I have updated the driver for the printer from version 2 to version 4.

Greetings,

These are the drivers needed for your printer under OSX Sequoia.

Canon Support for Color imageCLASS MF634Cdw | Canon U.S.A., Inc.

The errors are related to software.  I suggest you start over.  Uninstall any Canon Drivers or Utilities.  Drag from the Applications folder to the Trash Can.

If you are using a USB connection, unplug the cable and remove the printer from Printers and Scanners using the minus (-) icon.  Then restart your MAC.  Run the printer installer first, do not connect the printer until you are prompted to do so.  Then run the Scanner Driver/Utility.  Retest

If you are using Wi-Fi or ethernet, remove the printer, restart and run the installers found in the link I posted above for Mac OS Sequoia.
