GX2020 Equally spaced horizontal line gaps in he magenta printing.

I am getting widely spaced horizontal line gaps in the magenta printing. I did the print align test and it got worse. The black prints out fine without problems. I tried the manual, but the printed patterns don't look like the manual pattern. There is no magenta. I also did the print cleaning routine. 

The procedure is poorly engineered. I should printout a pattern and then have the GX2020 scan it. If there isn't a fix within the weekend, I will trash this printer. I am disappointed. This printer didn't jam all the time like the other printers I have had, but it really should have better engineering for the issue of keeping the printing in alignment.

I am going to trash this printer and look for an Epson.

If the issue is only occurring with the magenta ink, it looks like there might be some clogged nozzles in the magenta portion of the print head. In this situation, you can try cleaning or deep cleaning the print head to see if the lines in the magenta ink clear. If you continue to run into issues, it looks like the print head is clogged or the printer needs service. To check your service option, you can contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.

I threw out the printer and purchased a new one. These printers are disposable and at some point you have better things to do.
