I'm considering purchase of a Color imageCLASS MF656Cdw AIO color laser printer.
I've seen conflicting reviews about noise: trying to understand why.
Some reviews describe it as exceptionally quiet, and others describe it as 'the loudest printer I've ever owned'. I don't want a loud printer. Perhaps noise is due to improperly maintained devices? If so, I'm interested, and will do what's necessary to keep my printer well maintained.
What about aftermarket toner? How much of a difference is there between Canon supplied toner and various aftermarket brands. Are some brands better than others? Does it make sense to 'hedge bets' by using aftermarket toner for black and Canon brand toner for the colors?
