Additional info. Canon MF Scan Utility allows legible scanning through its Photo and ScanGear options. The Document, Custom and E-mail options produce the error message 10,202,3 and illegible images.

Hello Marsh,
If you have updated to Mac OS Sonoma, you can download the latest version of our drivers and utilities to resolve your issue. You can download and install the updated version of the MFprinter/scanner drivers and utilities from our site using the link HERE. Once the new driver and scan utility are installed, you will be able to scan normally.

I have the same problem with my Canon MF645C when I try to scan to PDF:
An internal error occurred. Restart the computer, then try again.
Code:10,202,3
Scanning to PNG or other formats works. There is probably a bug in the transformation of the scan into PDF.
I use the Canon MF Scan Utility Version 1.10.13 (1.10.13)
