Color image class MF741Cdw paper tray does not close

Paper tray does not close completely. I can not see the cause of it. Does somebody know how to fix this?

Hello Annette2,

The paper tray can extend to fit longer sheets of paper. If the tray is extended, it will not close all the way and that is normal. You can try closing the tray using the steps in the link provided HERE. Once the tray is collapsed, it will fit when you load it into the printer.

Try reducing the amount of paper you insert. According to Canon, overfilling the paper tray is the most common reason for the tray's incomplete closure.
