I'm trying to re-install the scanner driver for this multifunction printer as it stopped working.
The MF8330cdn printer is installed on a typical simple wired home network via a router - NOT USB. other machines are able to use the scanner. IT's a windows 7 x64 machine. fully updated. The canon driver is the latest 20.05b.
it all uninstalled o.k. but now when i reinstall i get a simple error displayed 'could not install the scanner driver please try again'. but the printer driver does install o.k.
