When I open the front cover to change an empty ink cartridge the carriage that holds the ink cartridges does not move into position the allow changing. The Cyan cartridge is empty and instead of an X above it there is a ?. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem?

Hi,
It sounds like the printer is not detecting the ink level correctly and wont move the cartridge over. I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. If that does not resolve the issue, the printer would need to be replaced.
