Canniot get tray to budge to put in paper

I cannot get the tray to budge for adding paper -  is there a lever I'm missing?

Hello.

What is the exact error that appears when the unit does not feed the paper?

Also, tell us what type of paper is being used and which of the two cassette trays is the paper loaded in?
