I have a canon Color imageCLASS MF8580Cdw and I am using a Windows 7 laptop. It's been scaning fine, but now is giving an error of 255,0,0 and saying it is unable to scan. I have checked scaner settings on laptop and those are set to correct scaner and I have turned the printer on and off. Still not working. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
J

Hi jcampbell316.
So that I can better assist you, how is the printer connected? Is it connected with a USB cable directly to the printer, with an Ethernet cable to a router, or wirelessly over the network?
I look forward to your reply. Should you need immediate assistance, please contact us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).
