When I try to register, it has no bn option. If I choose the closest product choice (MF23n), it doesn't recognize my serial code. Ugh. Scanner isn't working but can't get help if can't register....
(Note: I declined last step of setup process to send info to Canon--it wasn't clear from the "language" whether that was mandatory or not--could that possible be why setup no complete and hence scanner not working? (printing works fine)

Your printer model is MF236n
Canon's 6's look like "b's"
Its difficult to advise further on your issue since you haven't told up what OS you are using the printer with. Or what software you installed. Windows, MAC, and its version, etc.
