TR150 Not Printing Color

sadears

My TR150 isn't printing in color. I don't use it often; it's usually stored. Most of my docs are B&W. But, today, I needed to print several documents with a lot of color. I had several paragraphs in red. I got nothing. Not color, not B&W. The printer shows the levels for both color & black are low but not empty. I checked the nozzle. It shows the lines but not the color tests.

Any idea what's up?

Thanks,

Apparently, ink evaporates. I did not know that. I replaced both cartridges. It now works fine.

Hi,

Please use the steps HERE to perform a deep cleaning of the nozzles. After the cleaning, you will be able to print a nozzle check to see if the color bars appear. If after 2 cleanings the color ink does not appear, the printer will require service.

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
