SELPHY CP910 - freeze at home screen

Hi,

I have a photo printer canon selphy cp910, and it's frozen at home screen.

Have anything can I do to solve it?

I left it plugged in with the power on. It worked a couple of times, but eventually it stayed on the logo screen and never left. I threw it out

I had to create this account just to say, shame on you Cannon. My CP910 is stuck on Cannon logo screen. No messages, no sound, just dead. The priter died before EVEN printing the 72 photo papers that was in the box!! 

Bought on 2015, died in 2019. Do you have a death-timer Cannon ? Print as much as you can in 4 years? 

I paid 120euros just to print about 40 photos in four years before it died on me.

Cannon? Never again, i ll spent my money on a more trustworthy brand.

Serial number and receipt available as proof of purchase.

When I called canon, they offered me a 10% discount on another printer. I told them where to put it!

plugged in for over 24 hours and then  start  reset procedure. That is unplug the printer and press the power button 5 times, wait a 2 minutes and then plug it back in and power it on. Just doing the reset procedure sometimes  tacke  to works, but if it does not work , leave it plugged in for a long time.antel the diod to charg

It would appear your SELPHY CP910 would require service.  To obtain service, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on Service & Support on the left side of your My Canon account.

On the next page, click on the red Get Service & Support button to the right of your SELPHY CP910.

Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button.
