I have a problem with the printer. It appears that it cannot print because the ink cassette is empty and it is new. Is there a solution other than opening the printer completely and solving the problem from the inside?

Hi Hadeelom1,
Even though that one was new, have you tried using a different ink cassette?

Hi Gilberp2,
It would appear that your SELPHY printer would require service.
To obtain service, please follow these steps:
1. Please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:
https://mycanon.usa.canon.com
2. Once logged in, click on Service & Support in the menu on the left side of your My Canon account.
3. On the next page, click on the red Get Service & Support button to the right of your SELPHY printer.
4. Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button.
Follow the on screen prompts to set up service.
