SELPHY CP1500 Trouble choosing paper size, unable to print in color

GigiL

I am in the process of setting up my new SELPHY CP1500.  My first print was grayscale and off center, as if printing on an 8x10 instead of 4x6.  I have tried going in to Windows and changing print properties. The problem is there isn't an option to add color (only grayscale and monochrome).  In addition, under paper size my only 2 options are A4 and Letter.  How do I fix this?

Same problem.

Canon needs to make theyr own drivers now or the printer is just e-waste when connected to a computer and can only be used with the phone app.

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was a generic driver that would work for this printer.  I guess I'll be returning this printer on Monday. What a disappointment!  Thanks for replying!!

That is nuts. They are selling this printer today on their website and it says it is compatible with Windows 11. My daughter got one last christmas and has printed a few things on her phone. I finally got around to hooking it up to my desktop and was about to wear the thing out and yall are telling me that it wont work?!

Cannon needs to correct this ASAP! Print my photos after editing from raw on Windows. And now my printer has been rendered useless to me... This is a problem!!

Our support team will be happy to look into this with you. You'll find your personalized support options within your Canon Account at https://canon.us/account

I did and it says you're closed no chat. And really I just need to know if cannon is going to provide a driver so we can still use our printer. (less than a year old). AND no I do not use my phone for photos like this.

Are canon publishing a dedicated windowsdriver?

With respect, what is there to look into. Canon needs to create a driver that works with this printer and Windows 11, which it claims it is compatible with on your own product page.

I've already returned this computer. What Canon needs to do is be transparent with your advertising and description of the Selphy CP1500. It is not compatible with Windows computers.
