Unable to print via USB or wireless (on same wireless network) via Windows 11.  I do not see any drivers on the Canon support site for Windows 11, any advise ?

Thanks

Hi,

As a workaround you can try using the Windows 10 driver for the CP1300. Once you open the support page and it shows your operating system, click Windows 11 and a dropdown menu will appear. Select Windows 10 x64 and then download/install the driver.

Hello ArthurJ,

That was the first thing I tried and was unable to install the software.  In fact, the driver states that it did not install (either via USB or Wi-Fi).  I tried using the same driver on a Win 10 w/s, it installed w/o any issues (both on USB or Wi-Fi).  Looks like this driver does not work on any Window versions higher than ver. 10.

Now my issue is, I am getting the following error 'Paper Size is incorrect! Insert paper cassette containing correct paper size.

I am using the following:

Paper Cassette: PCP-CP400

Paper:

Postcard Size (RP-54), 100 x 148mm / 4 x 6 / 4R

Confirm settings, still same error.   Do I need a special app to print ?

Please advise, Thanks

Nope. It doesn't work. The installer will get stuck at 50% and after couple minutes it throws an error about unsuccessful instalation.

I tried also standard Windows printer instalation and that ends up stuck too, but without any error.

Hi Trinom,

The SELPHY CP1300 is not supported with the Windows 11 operating system.  To use your SEPLHY CP1300, please use an earlier version of Windows.  You can also use a mobile device, such as a cell phone or tablet to print with your SELPHY CP1300 using the SELPHY Photo Layout app available in your device's app store.

I played with the Selphy and found out, that if I connect the printer using USB cable, Windows intalls the drivers just fine and I can print under W11. So at least something. Wireless printing doesn't work, even if I try to change the print port though.
