Lines on photos for SELPHY CP1500

I’m having issues where lines are printing on my photos that don’t exist on the photo. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

I am having the same issue. It seems to happen on the first photo I print in a batch and then it goes away for all subsequent photos. I thought it might be a dirty printer head but no real idea...

Did you figure this out? this is happening to me - i have already tried to clean the rollers with a swab and alcohol...not sure what else...hubby thinks i should open it up and clean it....

Hi aliciag22,

Confirm that the inside of your SELPHY CP1500 is free of dust.

If the air vents become dusty, remove the ink cassette before wiping the dust away, to prevent dust from getting inside and affecting print quality.

Never wipe the printer with solvents, such as benzene or thinner, or neutral detergent, which may cause deformation or peeling of the casing.

Also, confirm that your CP1500 is away from sources of electromagnetic waves or strong magnetic fields.

i'm pretty sure it's dust, but i've already tried clearing it three times, i will try again and reach out.
