IVY 2 issues: Blue tint, bottom of image cut off, sides getting trimmed

fulminata

I have a Canon Ivy 2 and, to preface, I've ran the blue calibration card a few times and still nothing has fixed the issues I'm coming across.
1. blue tinting to every image, even with color balancing/correction/adjustment

2. the bottom of the image cuts off even though the app shows all images as the same size

3. the sides are also getting trimmed for whatever reason.

below is the printed version and the images they were supposed to approximate. I'm not expecting a 1:1 match, but it would be nice to have the prints always be off. Any ideas as to what I can do?

(and yes, my product is registered)

Hi fulminata,

Please try running the blue sheet through your IVY printer 3 or 4 more times.

If the issue persists, your IVY may require service.  To obtain service, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on Service & Support on the left side of your My Canon account.

On the next page, click on the red Get Service & Support button to the right of your IVY 2.

Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button.

This didn't work and I sent my printer off for repairs.

Hi there, I know this is a few months old, but did sending your printer off for repairs solve the blue tint problem?

Unfortunately, no, it didn't. I ended up switching to a Kodak Mini Retro 3 Printer. No blue tint and no photo cut off. The size isn't perfect but I can fiddle with it to get it where I need it to be.
