Why is my canon mx700 printer printing stripes?

Why is my Canon MX700 printing stripes? I've cleaned the heads, etc, all to no avail. Suggestions?

Unfortunately, if you continue to experienced streaked printouts after cleanings and maintenance options have been performed, the printer may require service for correction.  I apologize for this inconvenience.

Are these stripes blank or colored? And, are they vertical or horizontal?
