Seeking cameras for school yearbook and newspaper staff

Hello I am a student who is helping create a new sports media publication and am in seek of finding new cameras. For both the yearbook and newspaper staff have used 10+ year old cameras in which we only have 8-10 that work effectively that we split across 50 students. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if Cannon could help us!

I suggest trying a local photography club. 
Also have the students that can afford it buy their own cameras leaving the pool cameras for those that truly need them.
