Hello Canon,

I was recently emailed through my company email from the email "[email protected]". I'm writing to check the reliability of this email as this was the email I received. Please let me know if this is a scam.

We’ve been following your content and were genuinely impressed by your aesthetic and the meaningful connection you’ve built with your audience. Your creative voice reflects the bold innovation, inclusivity, and fearless self-expression that define Canon.

As part of this potential collaboration, selected creators can expect:

[email protected] is not legitimate. It is part of a known phishing and influencer scam targeting content creators.

If you have to ask its a scam. Canon would not send anything via gmail.

That said, this would be a really sweet deal.

Don't know of any international company that uses gmail. I get all kinds of emails: payment declined, update storage, order confirmed, ad nauseum.
