Professional Photographers - Do you use separate gear for business vs personal?

I'm looking into the details of starting a side photography business.  Regarding equipment, it would be covered by insurance under my business.  However, am now curious as to what pros do when venturing out on personal vacations or other outings with such gear.

Do you have separate gear (for business-use only and personal-use only)?  Or do you use the same gear for both business and personal projects?

I haven't been able to find answers yet via searches.  Most (all?) insurance policies cannot have overlaps. i.e. if your gear is covered by a business policy, it wouldn't additionally be under say your homeowners policy.  Thus, when I take my gear on vacations, family visits, etc, I don't think it would be covered.  Inland marine wouldn't apply if I'm not hauling gear to a gig.

I am getting ready to pay for insurance this week, both renters and business. The reason for the business is after talking with the insurance agents it turns out that the renters insurance will only cover the camera gear WHILE IT IS IN THE HOUSE OR ON THE PROPERTY. If I got anyplace to shoot and something happens then I am not covered. I now have about $12,000.00 USD in gear, the main two units that worry me are the R5 Mark ii and the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens and the other camera which is less but still my second camera. Being disabled the way I am I do have walking problems so falling is a concern, also being disabled I am a mark, for those that may not know the term it means people that see me with a nice camera and not being able to chase after them would find it easy to target me for mugging. With those two things I need better coverage so the only option I could get was business insurance at just under $600.00 USD but that is the only way I could find coverage even though I do not have a business.
