Intel Evo Laptops and Canon Products - Compatibility and Performance

eliveoseph

I recently purchased an Intel Evo laptop and I'm interested in hearing from other Canon product users who are also using these machines. Specifically, I'd like to know about your experiences with compatibility and performance when using Canon products with Intel Evo laptops.

I'm a photographer and I use Canon cameras and printers for my work. I've noticed that some of my older Canon products don't seem to work as well with my new Intel Evo laptop as they did with my older machine. For example, I've had trouble getting some of my older Canon printers to connect to my new laptop, and I've noticed that the performance of some of my software seems to be a bit slower on this machine.

I'm hoping to connect with other Canon product users who are also using Intel Evo laptops https://www.lenovo.com/in/en/faqs/intel/intel-evo-platform/ to compare notes and share experiences. Have you encountered any compatibility issues with your Canon products on these machines? Have you found any workarounds or solutions to optimize performance? I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights on this topic.

Thank you in advance for your contributions to this discussion

Greetings,

Generally speaking, an Evo designated laptop should support all currently produced Canon cameras, printers and their software.  Products which are EoL might still be supported (fully or limited) but could have compatibility issues depending on an individual use case.  Performance can vary depending on amount of installed memory, CPU choice, network connectivity, etc.  You may or may not hear from others who are using this platform as its somewhat broad in scope.

If you have a question about a specific Canon product or software application let us know.
