How to hold EOS R5 Mark II: Hold the lens, the body, or both?

I just purchased the Canon EO's R5 MkII with the BG-R20 battery pack & Canon RF 50mm f 1.2 Lens

QUESTION: When shooting with this system, how would you recommend holding it when taking a handheld image? - by the lens, by the body of the camera, or both? 

I appreciate your recommendations.

Both. Use two hands. Every camera user guide contains a page similar to this.

And the only time you don't hold it like that is if you are using a tripod or monopod.

Notice how the elbows are tucked in close to the body. No chicken wings! Someone cab, and eventually will, bump your chicken wing causing you to drop the camera.

I second that! Get a strap you like or hand strap you like. I prefer the hand strap for smaller lenses like the 50mil.
