Help Embedding Captions into CR2 Files

I have been asked to embed captions and tags into my RAW files and can't seem to do it through Photoshop, MAC finder or Explorer on a PC. What am I doing wrong?

Assuming your client is requiring this.  Are they OK with the RAW files being modified?  Personally, when using Adobe Lightroom, any additional data such as tags are put into sidecar (separate) files along the RAW.  This way the actual RAW file itself isn't changed.
