Fedex says my package was delivered but was not

I recently ordered a G7X iii ($932 after taxes) and it was supposed to get delivered today. I stayed home all day because it required a signature and didn’t want to miss it. Around noon I was notified that it was delivered and signed for, but I never received anything. I also asked my neighbors if they’d gotten anything and no luck. I’ve already opened up a claim with FedEx but is there anything I need to send to Canon in case a refund is my only option after investigations? If so, how do I get in contact with support? I also plan on filing a police report but I’ve never had any issues like this before. There were no photos of my delivery, it just says the signature was provided by someone with my name (spelled wrong). TIA!

Ask for the signature on the delivery. This is where one of the doorbell/cameras would be handy. My late BIL had one and could access it over his cell phone.
