This is odd but here goes. Before getting my Canon printer, I decided to ditch my landline which came with my fiber internet and like everyone else I use my cell for a phone. I called my isp and asked to re-establish my landline which was $10/m back then. I nearly fell of my chair when they told me it was now $50/m.
Is there a way to use the canon to fax over the internet these days. TIA

FWIW, I asked my son a similar question. "No one faxes anymore." He said to copy the document(s) and send as an attachment to an email. I don't think my Brand X multi-purpose machine has Wi-Fi fax capabilities. Got my curiosity up and will check.

Watched a youtube video last night. It is possible using a Magic jack. Plug your printers fax phone jack into it and the other end to your router. Magic jack gives you your own number to use. $30/year and the unit is $49 on amazon or directly from them.
