Changing the scan to location to an easier location on my computer

Hello, hoping that someone will be able to assist or point me in a better direction to answer this question.

When scanning a document or photos to a dell with windows 10, how do I find and change the scan to location?

I thought I figured it out but when I went to saved to folder under pictures the document and pictures were not in the new folder.

So we can best assist you, please let us know the model of your printer/scanner and if you are scanning directly from the unit or scanning from the computer.

If you are using the Canon IJ Scan Utility you slelct your desired destination in the Settings section, subsection "Save in".
