Changing file size

Hi all, I want to enter a photo in a contest. The file has to be JPEG or Jpg. They want it to be at least 5MB and 300 Dpi. I figured out how to change my Dpi but can't make the file bigger. My file is a little less than 2MB. As described above, they won't tk PNG which would be bigger. How to increase file size?

I read someone increased the file size by typing a bunch of stuff in the description under properties. I think I could do that in gimp. I don't know why they want the file to be bigger if the print size is appropriate.

It would have to be a novel to increase it by several MB!
