Please provide advice on how to deal with Canon Customer Support. I bought a Canon Ra and had to return it because it was defective. I was promised another Ra would be held for me, and when I checked the status, the representative told me it would be shipped 12/28/2021. I called again today (12/30/2021) and was told the Ra had been sold to someone else and that there were no more in stock. Then I had to ask for a manager to get reimbursed.
Is Canon Customer Support normally this incompetent and obstructive?

The Canon store shows the Ra both new and refurb avaialble for purchase (as of this posting)
Not sure what happened in your case.
B&H isn't offering the Ra any longer, so Canon is one of your few options.
If you have credit, I'd reorder and move on.
