Having the same problem here.
Simply want a direct shortcut to ScanGear on my desktop but there doesn't seem to be a ScanGear.exe file anywhere nor does ScanGear show in the Windows 7 start menu. (It is only accessible in the clumsy Canon Quick Menu)
So how can I create a simple desktop shortcut?
