Several years ago, my wife and I joined a non-profit, Smokies Life, who contributes funds to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Over the years, I have seen references to George Masa. The Fall 2024 issue of Smokies Life Journal has a complete article dealing with George Masa. He was active in the period of the 1920s and early 30s. His photos are obviously B&W but they speak volumes. I'm considering buy the book through Smokies Life; George Masa: A Life Reimagined.

It can be purchased through SmokiesLife.org or 1-888-898-9102, ext. 226; price for non-members is $28.95, #401067.

It's wonderful that you're supporting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park through Smokies Life. George Masa's contributions to the park's preservation and his breathtaking B&W photographs truly capture the essence of that era. "George Masa: A Life Reimagined" sounds like a fascinating read, especially given his impact and the historical context of his work Starbucks Partner Hours

If you're an avid photographer, Masa's techniques and perspective might offer you new insights. Your Canon EOS T7 and impressive lens collection suggest you're well-equipped to appreciate and perhaps even draw inspiration from Masa's legacy.

Enjoy diving into his life and work through the book. It sounds like a meaningful addition to your collection!

Only wish I have moved closer to the park back in 1988. Hindsight is always 20/20.
