R50 - Saving Custom Settings for Photos?

Can the EOS R50 save Photo settings in a “Custom Settings” slot?  I know there’s no C1, C2 options on the Mode Dial.

If I’m in Video mode I see the “Register Custom Settings” option. But it doesn’t appear when I’m in Av, Tv, M.  That leads me to believe that I cannot save my photo settings for a special situation (eg, Real Estate Phtography).

that’s a huge weakness of this camera - so I’m hoping I’m wrong.  Thx

Correct.  This are no "slots" for custom photo settings.   That is a feature available on the R10, not the R50.  C Mode (Custom Shooting Mode) is for saving video settings.

If you use Manual Mode the camera will retain also retain all basic settings.  Could you use manual mode for your real estate work and other modes for other shots and come back to manual mode for your real estate shots, perhaps?

You can also use the My Menu tabs to save off up to 5 tabs with six settings each to save off settings.

These are features of the less expensive R50 camera versus the R10, not a weakness.  If you wanted features of the R10 that would have been the correct camera to choose. That said, I certainly hope that via My Menu and Manual mode saving settings you will be able to accomplish your goal with the R50.
